Algonac Trinity United Methodist Church
The food pantry serves residents of Algonac, Clay & Ira every Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the third Tuesday of the month from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Paws Pantry is also available for pets. Community dinners are held at First Lutheran Church in Algonac on the third Wednesday of the month from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Learn more.
Thumb Blessing Boxes
Blessing Boxes are donation-based resources open to anyone to give or receive nonperishable food, infant care supplies, hygiene products, pet food, and cleaning items. They are available throughout Huron and Tuscola Counties. The website lists Blessing Box locations across both counties, including along local transit systems such as Thumbody Express and Thumb Area Transit. Learn more.
Focus: HOPE
Focus: HOPE provides food boxes for people 60 years old or older living in Lapeer, Tuscola, Huron, Sanilac, and St. Clair Counties. Learn more.

Located in Port Huron, this soup kitchen serves hot, healthy meals to residents of St. Clair County. Learn more.
Millington Community Center

Operation Transformation
Operation Transformation, a local faith-based nonprofit, works to bring positive change to the Blue Water Area. Its food distribution network serves the communities of Capac, China Township, Kimball, Lapeer, Marysville, and Port Huron. Learn more.
Skip’s Corner Pantry
Students at St. Clair Community College can access free food and hygiene products from the SC4 Welcome Center. Learn more.
Spoonfuls of Plenty
Spoonfuls of Plenty offers free, home-style community meals to anyone in need. Meals are served Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Human Development Commission in Caro. Learn more.
The Tiger Den
The Tiger Den provides Caro Community Schools students and their families with fresh and nonperishable food, weekend backpacks, and personal care items. Learn more.

Located at Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish, the Vassar Area Food Pantry serves people living in Frankenmuth, Mayville, Millington, Reese, and Richville. Open Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., it offers food, cleaning supplies, hygiene items, and pet food. Learn more.
YMCA of the Blue Water Area
The Y is committed to nurturing the potential of all youth and ensuring access to nutritious food. Free, healthy after-school meals are available at various sites for children under 18. Learn more.
During the government shutdown, the Y is supporting impacted federal employees with flexible payment options, financial assistance, and scholarships to help them stay connected to their health and community.
