For 17 years, Angela has been serving the Lansing community as an infant toddler teacher with Child and Family Charities Family Growth Center where she works to strengthen families by providing parents with the tools and resources they need to raise healthy and happy children. She extends that work as a Food Navigator at the South Lansing Farmers Market. Meet Amy
A Muskegon native, Amy is a teacher and works as a nutrition educator for the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids. She loves to teach about health and fitness, and inspire people to eat more fruits and vegetables, which is why she is excited about working year ’round at the YMCA Veggie Van parked outside Scott Meats in Muskegon Heights. She’ll also help you learn about the food assistance benefits accepted, like EBT/SNAP, share delicious recipes, and tips about cooking and storing fresh produce.Â
